Human Resources Director
(Personnel Director, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO))
In terms of time and effort, probably the least demanding role in any Young Enterprise company. A personnel director is responsible for making sure the company has the right number of staff, in the right place, with the right skills and that those staff are happy, motivated and performing to the best of their ability. If you have a group of people who get on and work well together, you shouldn’t have much to do – but if they don’t, you could spend a lot of time resolving disputes.
This is the role for you if you understand people, and are diplomatic and tactful.
This is not the role for you if you are always having rows or arguments with your colleagues.
